One more enticing bit of false flattery floated past like a fisherman’s fly on a fast-moving stream.

How many persons and causes and concerns do you believe you need to please?

What if you just settled for pleasing one person?

The psalmist said, “Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my Redeemer.”
