Exemplary Story: When Joseph joined his friends in a prank he had no idea of the outcome. Late one night Joseph and three boys from his class crept into the gym and put graffiti on the doors of the lockers. Then they fled into the night thinking they would never be caught. The next day Joseph was called to the principal’s office. He learned that the security guard had seen all four boys. His punishment was to clean the graffiti from the lockers. Then he was assigned the task of cleaning the gym for the next month. When Joseph asked why his punishment was so great, he was disappointed but not surprised by the answer. The principal said, “Joseph you must set an example. You are the principal’s son.” Judah had to set an example, since Judah was God’s people.
