Luke 13:18, 19 Then Jesus asked, “What is the kingdom of God like?  What shall I compare it to?  It is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his garden.  It grew, and became a tree, and the birds of the air perched in its branches.”

Prayer: Jesus, we would find shelter in your kingdom.

Thought for the day: The mustard you put on your sandwich is made of water, vinegar, and seeds.

Luke 13:34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing!
