2 Peter 3:18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Prayer: Jesus, may we grow in our knowledge of you and your ways.
Thought for the day: To grow in knowledge is to get more knowledge, and to grow in grace is to give and receive more grace.

Proverbs 16:3 Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.
Prayer: God, we commit our spiritual fruit bearing to you.
Thought for the day: For the Christian personal success follows from personal commitment to the Lord.

Saturday, May 23

John 3:34 For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit.
Prayer: Jesus, thank you for being there for us as one whose life was filled by Spirit, led of the Spirit, and fruitful for the Spirit.
Thought for the day: In Jesus’ life the fruit of the Spirit was never an obstacle to the saving of souls.
